Custom embroidery is priced per item, based on stitch count, design complexity, and the type of product being embroidered. This ensures fair, individualized pricing for both small and large projects — so you only pay for the embroidery that your item requires.

How Custom Orders Work

Ordering a custom embroidered piece from Sage & Stitch is simple, personal, and designed to give you exactly what you’re looking for. Here’s how the process works:

1. Send Your Idea

Reach out with your design request — whether it’s a name, date, logo, monogram, saying, or a full custom concept. If you have inspiration photos or specific colors in mind, feel free to include them!

2. Choose Your Item

You can provide the item you want embroidered, or I can provide one for you (such as towels, shirts, blankets, loveys, framed fabric pieces, etc.). We’ll confirm style, thread colors, and placement before stitching begins.

3. Receive a Price Quote

Custom embroidery is priced per item, based on stitch count, design size, and complexity. You’ll receive a clear quote before your order is finalized — no surprises.

4. Approve the Final Design

Before stitching, I’ll send a mockup or description of your final layout so you can review and approve the design.

5. Your Item Is Stitched With Care

Once approved, your piece is embroidered with high-quality materials, attention to detail, and the handmade Sage & Stitch touch.

6. Pickup or Shipping

When your order is complete, you’ll receive a message to arrange local pickup or shipping. Your custom piece will be packaged with care and ready to enjoy or gift.

Custom Order Policies

To ensure every custom piece is made with care and delivered exactly as expected, please review the policies below:

✨ Payment

  • Custom orders must be paid in full before stitching begins.

  • Once payment is received, your design will be added to the production schedule.

✨ Turnaround Time

  • Typical turnaround time is 7–14 days, depending on design complexity and current order volume.

  • Rush orders may be available for an additional fee—please ask if you need a quicker timeframe.

✨ Supplying Your Own Items

  • You are welcome to provide your own items for embroidery.

  • Please note: Sage & Stitch is not responsible for replacement of customer-provided items in the rare event of machine error or material incompatibility.

  • If you’re unsure whether an item is embroidery-friendly, feel free to ask first!

✨ Design Approval

  • All custom orders require final approval before stitching.

  • Please review spelling, dates, and details carefully — once embroidery begins, changes cannot be made.

✨ Cancellations & Refunds

  • Because each custom item is made to order, custom orders are non-refundable once stitching has begun.

  • If you need to cancel before work starts, please contact me as soon as possible.

✨ Communication

  • All updates and approvals will be sent through your preferred contact method.

  • Quick responses help keep your order on schedule.

✨ Shipping & Pickup

  • Local pickup is available.

  • Shipping is offered at the buyer’s expense and includes tracking.

  • Sage & Stitch is not responsible for carrier delays once items have been mailed.
